16.2 Less of Me

This week I finally saw some success on the scale after two weeks of gaining. I went up .2 then .6 but now I'm down 3.2 to make up for all that!

I really have to stay on track and stay motivated without getting bored, so what can I do to change things up? I would really appreciate your ideas!!

On a happy note I lost another 5 so I get to pick a present for myself. I think I'm going to go for a nice recipe box...

  1. Hmm what kinds of things motivate you?
How about going farmers market? I always end up getting such nice fruits n veg wen I go that I never would otherwise cuz it's so cheap n fresh. N than I'm excited to eat them!
Or try searching for new healthy recipes to try.
Like I just randomly bought tempeh for the first time, found a recipe n really liked it!
A lot of its simply discipline. Every sunday I write out my menu for the week. Usually just dinner but u can do lunch too. Down to what veg I'll use. Than I buy a few healthy snacks along w whatever fruit n that's all there is to eat. If its not there you can't eat it!!
Another thing that motivated me was when I was about to eat st I knew I shouldn't, I'd go try on a skirt I loved that no longer fit n it made me so upset that I said forget it it's not worth it.
U can do it I'm so proud of u!!!!

  2. If you want another way to get bored with food here it is:
Hi Hoddie Here it is. I lost 15 pounds without trying with this method. Everything you eat must be chewed at least 7 times before swallowing, and that is just the beginning of the boredom.
Protein should be chewed up to 15 times (start with 7 and work up). Even drinks other than water should be "chewed". This is for health as well as to bore you silly about food. You will find it so boring that you will eat less and your gut will not
feel starved because it couldn't digest food swallowed without chewing. I am convinced that gulping food is one of the major causes of weight gain. Gulping is a habit formed when we are infants or children. More about this by phone if you want. Love, Gramma Diane
